I'm learning more about the MIDI/sound editing program. There are still about a hundred menu items I haven't even touched. Nonetheless, I'm happy with how Bach's Fugue in G Minor turned out.

For something closer to what I sound like when I play, I offer Souvenir de la Havane, by Louis Moreau Gottschalk. Or at least, as much of it as I can play. This was done as a quickie in two takes, and I didn't bother to fix any of the bad notes, of which there are not a few.

It's terrible.... I get stage fright when I turn the record button on.

All right, now for the rest of my weekend, which will contain tikis and muppets. Full report later.

Looks like it's not there no more. But, unsurprisingly, googling "hamster MIDI" doesn't get that many hits, and the google cache was there. So far, these hamsters are a lot more famous musicians than I am.

I at least hope to outlive them, so I can spit on their little shoebox graves.

It's a quirky link -- yesterday, I kept getting 404; this morning, I clicked in no problem.

*shrug*

Don't let their fame get you down. They're no Alvin and the Chipmunks.
