Vacation Photos
Jul. 30th, 2013 04:43 pmDr. Pookie and I took a whirlwind tour, hitting up San Jose (where we had a great time with relatives), San Francisco, a train to Reno, and then back to LA.
You can see the whole smorgasbord of photos (about 250 photos and a few little videos) here.
My bestof selection is here, apparently in a random order.
The relatives portion of the trip may not be of importance to non-relatives, but I will force you to at least check out this:
Me & my cousins Jim and Tom

Compare to this, from my college graduation back in cough-cough:

Nightmare in Halloweentown
Apr. 2nd, 2006 09:56 amIt would be pointless to attempt to describe the oodles of crazy foolishness that made up this brief interval of time in Halloweentown (and the rest of the stop-motion universe). I would have to explain why half of Sally's brain had been switched with that of the Monster's Mate, or why that Rooster-looking fellow was actually a criminal mastermind penguin in disguise. So instead, you can poke about the few really bad photos I took.
Picture Post
Mar. 17th, 2006 08:47 amHere's the strangely ironic billboard (or is it just me?). You'll have to click and view bigger to read it.

The grandparents at the Thai restaurant:

From Pittcon, a Varian NMR console from 1961. Imagine 'storing' your NMR spectral data on plotter paper.

A few more photos on flickr, though I will not stoop so low as
jason_brez and link to pictures of my cat.

Enigmaversary photos
Feb. 7th, 2006 04:34 pmEnigma's having its 20th anniversary in a week and a half.
It's kinda neat poking through the photos that people have been uploading. Awwww!!
Evil Cookies and Milk!
And for those of you who missed the legendary New Year's Eve/House Warming party: All you need to know. It's actually amazing how Bino spent virtually his entire evening documenting Aaron. You can watch the whole tragedy play itself out.

Photo of the day
Feb. 2nd, 2006 09:06 amSometimes (like today), I get business emails from foreign companies from people I don't know. Sometimes (like today), they have unfamiliar and outlandish names. So, in my effort to be cosmopolitan and suave, I do a GIS on their first name to see if they are innies or outies, so I can Ms. or Mr. them.

Oct. 18th, 2005 12:11 pmMostly, I just wanted to show everyone one of the masks that Becca's twin made for the wedding, but nephthys had a suitable meme. Thus:
Post your picture in my journal as a comment. If possible, use a picture that none of your journal buddies have seen before. It will only take a few minutes to do! Then post this sentence in your journal so others can show you who they are as well!

Day 1 of Maxicon 5
Sep. 4th, 2005 06:42 pmPhotos of smelly gamers (and Becca). Further details later. Maybe.
I cut my hair yesterday. A coworker brought donuts to work today. That about sums up my exciting life.
