bellwethr (and several others of you who've been passing out little Gmail invite candies) reminded me once more that
Google Answers promised Gmail accounts to its researchers. I actually am a Google Answers researcher, though I've researched exactly one question. Nevertheless, I feel I've
earned my Gmail account, straight from the holy Google source itself. Not like most of you other people... out there spreading invites like some horrible socially transmitted betatest.
Anyway, if you wanna say hi, I'm essentialsaltes at gmail.
Oh, yeah, and I got my Darkest of the Hillside Thickets t-shirt, featuring "Where the Great Old Ones Are":

Yes, this makes me really cool, but not one hundredth as cool as Toren, who drew it.

Date: 2004-06-23 04:46 pm (UTC)My personal theory on gmail accounts is that this is Google's ploy to get everyone to use them. Make them a limited commodity initially that everyone wants for the coolness factor, and then slowly dole them out until *surprise* they've saturated the market.

Date: 2004-06-24 01:46 am (UTC)I could promise to keep all of you individuals apprised as to when we do another run, but realistically that would be an empty promise, so the really the best way is to join that group. Feel free to remove yourself once you get a shirt - I won't be offended.
Also email me if you want a specific size or colour. The image is too wide for girly shirts, I'm afraid....
How can I change my preferences so I'm not constantly logged out of LJ when I close my browser?
