The defendants or the lawyers? Well, the defendants definitely win, but I think both groups need to be sent to Abu Ghraib (as inmates, despite their obvious qualifications for being on staff). Really nasty nasty link.

I'm stunned they managed to find a jury willing to sit on that case - alas, there's no shortage of scumbag lawyers willing to take it.

Where did the kids get the drug? (since it seems almost certain there was a drug involved)

What's the kid's dad, the sheriff, doing and thinking?

Finally: how often does this happen around the world, and why isn't anyone doing anything to stop it?
