PBS called the Maine's referendum on same sex marriage for the affirmative. Same sex marriage voted in by popular vote. Really glad to see that. And it won't be the last.

Three states look to have voted in marriage equality in some form. And one elected an openly lesbian senator (yay!), who will be one of a record (if not enough yet) 18 women who will be seated as Senators in the next congress. We're not there yet, but we're moving in the right direction.
