Had a weird thought while waking up in the shower. I'd like to hear a guttural, Fields-of-the-Nephilim-like cover of Pink Floyd's "Bike".

Personally, I would love someone to rock out on Floyd's "The Nile Song."

I also really, really, really, really want the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets to cover "Pinhead" by the Ramones, just to hear Toren getting the audience to chant "One of us! One of us!"

I've always been a fan of bizarre covers. KCRW has played a few - a memorable one being Ozzy Osbourne's "Paranoid," played at quarter speed, and sung by some sweet-voiced ethereally-voiced chick.

Of course, to show where my own musical tastes lie, I've always wanted REM to cover "Birdhouse In Your Soul" by They Might Be Giants. Not really that far a stretch, actually.
