I went through and completed all the challenge maps. Some of them are silly, some of them are fun, and some are really frustrating. On the last one I solved, Wagons of Fire, I managed to do some out of the box thinking. Fuck your sadistic puzzle -- I found an easier way.

Spoiler!

I haven't looked exhaustively, but I haven't seen anyone mention my solution. And I feel SMRT about it.

Looking at the intended solution, what held me back is that I didn't adequately grok that you can stimulate water trees to piddle. And from such abject failures comes invention.

The level has a mountainous caldera-ish thing that you need to get one of your pipples inside, so he or she can pick up the yummy magic, and then get out. But the wall is way too steep to climb. We'll set aside the Rube Goldberg intended solution...

In the level, you are limited to only picking up water. Ordinarily, you'd just pick up some dirt and dump it on the wall until there was a smooth hill to walk over. But water is not good for building hills.

But you are limited to a single power -- Jellify Water, which makes water semi-solid.

So I Jellified water, and dumped jelly water on top of my pipple. And he rises to the top, fortunately. I piled up a fair amount of water behind him, and then unjellified the water. He gets carried into the caldera on the wave of water. He picks himself up, cursing the gods for half-drowning him, and then gets the yummy thing. When he heads back for the home, you repeat the process to wash him to the other side of the barrier.
