Beach tiger beetle larvae have a nifty form of locomotion: on windy days, they leap into the air, form a wheel, and let the wind push them along as they roll up the beach.

For the first time ever, prayer will not be part of graduation ceremonies Friday night at Bastrop High School the school will obey the law of the land.

But a lot of people are not happy about it and the moment of silence at the Senior Night got upgraded to sectarian prayer.

In an earlier post they mentioned that he had been removed from his walk position and placed last yesterday but was restored to his proper place right before the ceremony.

Yeah, I saw the updates after the fact. Should be a slamdunk courtcase, I think, though it looks like the school may be trying to hide behind the figleaf of the prayer being a spontaneous act of a student - and a random ejaculation of the guest speaker.

Yep. They are. Unfortunately there is video of the practice the night before. Not so spontaneous if there is a rehearsal!
