aaronjv is running another roadpuzzlerally here in the City of Angels. I enjoyed Aaron's first one, though my team's late start hobbled our chances. Indeed, I enjoyed it enough to run my own, receiving the execrations and cheers of many.

Anyway, I'm thinking of forming a team. Any of you cool cats up for that?

"There will be armed (boffer) combat, but only between other fighters (duels) and select NPCs. Feel free to invite others, larpers, non-larpers, friends, family, etc. Each team must have a legal, registered driver and an insured vehicle. At least one cell phone with a camera is required for each team. You are expected to have Internet access, but it will help you less than you think."

Of all of those required things... I can only supply "a legal, registered driver and an insured vehicle"

So I could use:
* someone with a suitable phone.
* someone with mobile internet access (probably included above)
* someone who has both skill and an avocation for hitting people with padded sticks.

ETA: It occurs to me that the game is running on Judgment Day, so if the world does not end as scheduled, you can thank the ChronoAgents.

Hmm... I do have an Internet-capable phone, though it is slow. It does have camera.

I am also a decent boffer figher, and even have my own sword :)

I'm in. I have a 4G phone that should meet all the relevant requirements, and while I don't know much about hitting people with "padded sticks", I do know a bit about hitting people with sword-like objects generally.

Let me check the calendar to confirm, but if it works out I would definitely be interested as well. I also have some expertise hitting people with sword-like objects, so I could swing the boffer while Ian wields the phone...

I know we don't know each other well, and I don't know much in the geekly gaming world, but I did solve nearly all the puzzles in your rally, I'm a fast driver, and I've got a fast internet phone which can also simultaneously be a high speed wifi hotspot for a number of laptops too. :)

I might join this thing with my own team, but I feel certain that not knowing the subtler ways of the geek, we may suck. :)

It looks like I've got a full team of me, ian_tiberius, richardabecker & thelastmehina, so there's no room at the moment, alas.
But do think about forming your own team. aaronjv doesn't seem to be making this 'for geeks only' [regardless of any windowdressing about being a cleric or fighter] so I don't think you'll be at any disadvantage.
