Last night we watched Pulp Fiction. I pictured our loan officer as Marsellus as he was getting butt-raped. It didn't make me feel any better.

I posted a long comment about obesity in kayven's blog.
To get your weekend off to an enjoyable start, I give you -- The Ample Sponge:

5:00 pm Friday: Marguerita calls back. Expresses understanding that we need to know what is going on and when our paperwork will be finished. Promises to call back later that evening.

10:00 pm Friday: No call from Marguerita or Perry.

Monday

9:30 am Call Perry. Perry puts me on hold. Perry says he will call back in TWO minutes.

12:33 Call Perry. Leave message at office.

12:34 Call Perry's cell phone. Perry answers: "I'm down here at the center. I'll call you back in just a couple of minutes."

1:36 Call Perry. Leave a message.

1:38 Call Perry's cell. Perry says the underwriting manager was supposed to be there at 12 but he'll be there within 20 minutes and then Perry will call at 2:30. Someone called Trudy is involved, but I'm not sure how. He says the loan documentation WILL be done today. He adds that "this is business, not personal. He don't take it personal. So don't be afraid to call." I'm not sure why this needs to be said, but there it is. No odds offered on whether Perry will call at 2:30.
