11:00 Call Perry. Get ahold of him--he's in a meeting. Sez call back at 12:00.
12:00 Call Perry. Get ahold of him--he's in a meeting. Sez he will call at 1:00.
1:00 Call Perry. Get ahold of him. He can't talk--will call in 5 minutes.
2:00 call Perry. Leave a message. Point out that it's been an hour, not five minutes. Call Perry's numbers several more times, without getting any answer.
2:30 visit the Ditech website. Ask someone on their 24hour chat IM how long it takes to get a loan through them: "about three weeks." It has been 3 months since Perry approved our loan, five weeks since we told him our offer had been accepted, and 2 weeks since he's been promising daily that the loan would be done imminently. This is not a good comparison to think about.
3:00 call Perry. No answer. Call the general number. Get Vivian. Explain that I'm trying to reach Perry, who promised to call in 5 minutes over 2 hours ago. She transfers me to his supervisor Marguerita. Leave a message explaining that Perry has not called all day, and the loan documentation was supposed to be done at 10 am, which is 5 hours ago.
This does not make me feel any better, either.
