Spike does that, but with only a partial-head immersion - he lets it trickle down around his ears and neck and drinks it from there.
Then he gets water up his nose, sneezes it out, shakes off the rest of the wet onto the rest of the bathroom, and tracks wet footprints all over the sink and toilet and floor on his way out. This would be why we buy disinfectant wipes in bulk, and keep the toothbrushes in the medicine cabinet.
