Not quite grey goo, or even very mysterious, but two Chinese workers died after working for months without proper protection in a paint factory using nanoparticles.

"This is the first time the dangers of nanotechnology have been documented in humans."

No, it's not. There have been preliminary studies showing that nanoparticles can cause mesothelioma in rats.

But of course we "need to investigate more" and "shouldn't panic."
