At last I felt confident enough to look at my investment account statement.

Unfortunately, it had a little bar graph showing the months I'd been avoiding.

It's not like I didn't know, but visual representations of data can still be painful.

On the flip side, for various reasons I was looking at statements I'd been avoiding about a month ago and when I looked yesterday I got to go OOohhh, I'm much less in the whole than I was. Now, to not be in the hole at all!
