essentialsaltesThis coming Thursday, Friday, Saturday, there will be screenings of the Lon Chaney Sr. Phantom of the Opera in Orange County with the Pacific Symphony and live organ accompaniment on the relatively new William J. Gillespie Concert Organ.
Personally, I think the PofO has not aged as well as some of the other silent classics, but still plenty of great art, sets, locations, etc. Whoever thought a man named Chaney could be so ugly, evil and menacing?
