In related news, we succeeded in our mission to grill at least once per calendar month in 2008. An after-work evening in the middle of December added to the difficulty level. While we stood around the fire, I believe the mercury plummeted past an arctic 60 degrees. Still, layers, red wine, and filet mignon can help Man overcome such adversity.
dark_of_night deemed it "possibly the best steak I have ever eaten... Evar!" So the year's practice is paying off. I would also like to thank Mrs. Cow for unselfishly giving of herself.
In the dark, bits of the charcoal chimney was glowing red-hot, which can be seen indistinctly here:
