aaronjv already mentioned it... Chewbacca arrested in Hollywood. Fortunately, not for soliciting sex from a she-male. Props to the Times staff for the hed, a correct spelling of Wookiee and the important detail that the incident was "witnessed by Superman."
Just for the record, the toppled crane on the 405.
Music to USC athletes' ears: "You come to my class and work, and I see you want to learn, I'll give you an A. I see some lazy ass, coming late all the time, acting like he doesn't care, I won't give him an A. I'll give him a B." (Incidentally, it seems that Tartan School wishes to adopt a similar grading philosophy. Dr. Pookie talked my ear off about it last night.)
Boy, the Boston Aqua Team Whatever Thing Bomb scare was dumb. There's no way entertainment-savvy Angelenos could ever be so dumb.
