The po-pos have blocked off the street and told everyone to stay inside. K9 units are about and we've been advised that they bite. There's a helicopter overhead and a suspected felon on the loose.

On a totally unrelated note, it was really pouring when I went to work on Monday. The streets were so flooded near work that the empty trashbins in the gutter were not quite floating away, but they were held down only by the weight of their wheels, bobbing floppily at a strange angle in the pooled water.

Yeah, isn't life in the city grand?

If you want to have some fun, dress up in the most insulated clothing you've got and go outside and see if the the cops can see you on the IR camera. :)
