After serving Los Angeles for 35 years, Rhino Records' Westwood store is closing its doors.
Aron's Records, a Hollywood institution for 40 years, is also going out of business.

First, the bookstores vanished, now the music stores. TV maybe killed the former, and the internet maybe killed the latter. I suppose people grew sad and nostalgic when livery stables and buggy shops went out of business, too.

Not so hot,I think...

The one in westwood closed down a few months ago. I think they're doing ok in Pasadena, but I haven't been in there in a while. I think Amoeba and Second Spin have definately had an impact, and of course online stuff.
