Adios amigos. I'll be at Pittcon for the next few days.

Note to self. Build time machine, go back in time, and buy several more copies of The Unspeakable Oath #2. Its value has grown at an annual rate of 28%. Whereas Taint of Madness has grown at about -10%.

Edited to add: Awesome Possum!

Awesome. I picked up Oaths #1-4 for $120 a couple years back. Nice to see it was actually an investment!

Holy crap!

I've got at least one. I think that's the one (or the one after) that has my article and story in it.

my investment broker said "Tice is always a safe bet. Buy Tice and you'll never be unhappy."

I can't retire on Tice! I should have bought Tynes!

You're looking for this issue, too? It's the only one I don't have. Why is this particular issue so difficult to find? Did they print less of it than the others? I'm sure as hell not going to spend $132 on it, but I might be willing to spend around $50. Or whatever it takes to outbid you...

No, I've got that one, so you won't have to outbid me. I was just checking to see how ridiculous prices had become on TUO's.

Oh, that's where you're going!

I was there last year. Bring a comfortable pair of shoes, and buy a shuttle pass if you don't have a car. The Ripley's Museum costs some ridiculous amount of money, but should also be open ridiculously late.

I'll refrain from asking why the "Pittsburgh Conference" is being held in Orlando until you get back.

The Spectroscopic Society of Pittsburgh, in its wisdom, hasn't held Pittcon in Pittsburgh for decades.
