Honestly, my snap-opinion is based on ten seconds of jaw-dropped staring at half a TV commercial, so you know more than I do, and it might turn out to be the Citizen Kane of fairy movies.
I'm almost sure I won't spend any money trying to watch it and likely, given the choice between spending the time to watch it or another movie with a slightly more mature appeal I probably would forgo watching Tooth Fairy. However... if it's on and I don't feel like there is something else that needs doing I wouldn't be against making myself a drink and having a go of watching it.
The Rock has surprised me enough times to at least give him that.
(The allowances one makes when one has a young niece and a variety of immature family members. That's my excuse and I'm stickin to it!)
The thing about it is, I've been seeing previews of it in the theater since last summer at least. I'm positive there was one in front of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
