essentialsaltesToday was a bad day for furry and feathery critters. Saw a dead cat on the street driving to work. Then a dead possum in the parking lot. A dead sparrow and a dead pigeon along my noontime walk. Plenty of deadly variety, anyway.
Now for news from Iraq:
"We are immortal until God decides otherwise."
"I truly believe we are protected by God,"
reinforces the ... conviction that God is on their side, seeing the war [as] good versus evil.
