As I poked around, it looks like he teaches one class each Winter Quarter at UCLA every year. He did do his PhD thesis at Cornell, though that cornell site lists his UCLA email address. Whoa, now I have his email address!
Hey, saw your location from a poll on atheism, and decided to friend you, if you don't mind. In fact, this very post I'm commenting on is a good reason why I friended you -- great local atheist info. :)
I go through periods of posting more and posting less. I'm in a 'less' phase right now; hopefully that'll change soon. Feel free to friend back or skip as you see fit.
I "met" dogofthefuture online, but actually saw him somwehat briefly IRL when I went to TAM4 in Vegas in 2006. Are you active with any of the LA-area skeptical or atheist groups? I usually go to the Skeptics lectures, and occasional CFI events. I was one of the late night readers at CFI for the 24hr continuous reading of Origin of Species -- that was fun and crazy!
Argh! I had strongly considered attending that group, but the times for the meetings were notated with an "AM" and I am strongly nocturnal. But I was considering making an exception for that group. :P
