Those fucking assholes seem to have overlooked that he's now supposedly Christian and goes to Unity church. You just can't please some fucking Christians. Or non-fucking Christians, as is probably the case here. Geesh!

Just remember, there's a world of difference between the convert who agrees with you and the one who doesn't. The former is the most godly of men, worthy of respect and reverence and forgiveness of all sins, both prior and following that blessed event. The latter's just faking it to get on your good side....

I would indeed have been impressed and sympathetic, as I am a native Southern Californian and I too live in an 86-year-old house, with the aforementioned insulation and such (although we did have the foresight to install a central HVAC system). However, I have just returned from Chicago, which has been experiencing a mild winter, so it was only about 25-30 degrees most of the time. But everything was covered in a white blanket of snow, which looks pretty if you don't have to actually walk through it.
