gmskarka comments on the state of the RPG industry. Comics & Games Retailer estimates: "Role-playing games were the hardest hit in 2005, with sales dropping around 45%." WTF, in one year RPG revenues were cut in half?!? Unless something unexpectedly tremendous happens, I think RPGs are doomed to further marginalization in the larger culture. The industry is already moving toward print-on-demand and PDF. Funky-smelling mimeographs would almost be a step up.

Oh yeah? Well in order for me to maintain my cool, you must kiss my ass at my Inglewood habitation office no later than Saturday, April 1, 2006. By the way, April 12th is a Wednesday.

PLEASE NOTE: In order for you to maintain your eligibility for a LARPY Award, you must forward a videotape “master” containing at least one (1) minute of your LARP-nominated performance to our Hollywood production office no later than Friday, April 12, 2006.
