Speaking of the SBC

Recently the first public same-sex marriage [or religious civil unioning anyway] was performed on a military base [truly amazing story there]. One of the people in attendance (not officiating) was a military chaplain from the SBC, who attended "as a show of support for the base community". The SBC apparently dislikes showing support for our troops and gave him some heat about his attendance, and the chaplain has dropped his affiliation with the SBC to join up with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
