Antony Flew's There Is A God
Sep. 22nd, 2009 01:33 pmI need to work on my blogging freebies.
aaronjv writes about cocktails and gets free bottles of booze, whereas I get free books of religious apologetics. Ah well, at least Aaron shares some of his freebies.
Anyway, in this thread on Crosswalk, menendez7 kindly offered me a copy of Antony Flew's There IsNo A God, and I offered to read and review it. (He also sent me a copy of Behe's Edge of Evolution, which I'll get to anon. So far I've learned a lot about malaria.)
Short Version:
Antony Flew was an eminent atheist philosopher, who has now become a deist, because:
*Science hasn't answered every question.
*The name for the answer to at least one of those remaining questions is "God".
My short response:
I have no need for that hypothesis.
( The much longer version. Much much much longer. )
