Click through for a couple more pics. Not much louche, but we have eliminated the funky smell. It appears that that was a product of letting the herbs dry naturally (um, in the laundry room). But baking them dry in the oven produced no funky. So success.

Taters, Precious

After the aromatherapy absinthium got completed, we did some grillin'. I heartily endorse this recipe, which we augmented with rosemary from the garden. That and some pasilla peppers and New York strip steaks, themselves augmented with some spice rub from A&K (ages ago). Turned out fabulous.
