Tuesday Mornings Toy Roundup
Mar. 14th, 2008 01:27 pmThere's still a Girls Only Cleaning Trolley there, but a new item caught my eye, the toy rolling pin that makes Warner Brothers characters in your dought. The box bore a label confessing "With mould in the cover!"
I noticed a 'colourful' somewhere else, so no doubt this is just my colonial accent talking, but that really seems wrong. The American Heritage dictionary is not backing me up; it says the 'u' is chiefly British for all senses of mo(u)ld. But I cannot imagine writing "Jello mould" while I can imagine writing "mouldy bread".
They also had an Atari 'console' with 20 preloaded games. Not only does it have Adventure (World of Warcraft circa 1979) but it reminded me of Haunted House.
Oh, and
dark_of_night might wish to drop by Tuesday Mornings, as they have a lot of fiberglass urns that might make good accompaniments to the ones we have already in the garden.
