brief update

popepat outdo himself in the officiating (not that anything could really be better than my wedding). Pat's catching up to me in the marriages performed column. I'll have to see what I can do.
Got my teeth cleaned today by a hygienist that the dental office was 'interviewing'. I guess they interview them by letting them practice on patients. She was Russian, and I believe her initial training was with SMERSH. She was using this ultrasonic waterpik thing on me, and occasionally my jawbone would conduct an all-too audible signal directly into my cochlea. Not to mention the fact that the handpiece dribbled a steady stream of cold water on my neck - Russian water torture.
Since North Korea and nukes are in the news recently, I'll just point out a nuclear advance in South Korea. KAERI (the Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute) has recently discovered a new use for gamma radiation from cobalt-60... space kimchi.
