Wow. A bad movie shot in a stylized manner is -- surprise, surprise -- a bad movie. Case in point: Punch-drunk Love. Bad, bad, bad, bad. The music (by Jon Brion) was interesting in places, but didn't really help the scenes. Everything else was just bad, bad, bad, bad. Adam Sandler, you are the weakest link. Goodbye. I had heard that this was a departure from his usual type of film, but he didn't manage to depart from the suck.

In other news, I sold $6000 worth of reports at work today. That was an unexpected bonus. I spent a fraction of my commission on buying Rebecca a very nice dinner at Lula's. There was so much food, it will wind up on our plates tomorrow for dinner.i
