Sep. 29th, 2003 02:09 pmNot much to update with, other than to mention that my illness returned with a vengeance on the weekend. It was not a typical cold for me -- it felt like someone was filling my sinus cavities with pressurized wet cement. Too annoyingly painful to even sleep.
Felt quite a bit better by Sunday. Enjoyed watching the Raiders game -- as usual they gave me a heart-attack by being 14 points behind with less than 6 minutes to play. But they managed to tie it up and win in overtime. Unfortunately, San Diego should have been easy to beat, and the Raider run defense was abysmal. I think the Bears are next up for the Raiders, which should boost their confidence. But I fear they don't have much chance at the playoffs with the Chiefs and the Broncos both in their division.
OK, enough football.
Tonight, I think I'll actually struggle out for an Enigma meeting. It's the beginning of the year, so it's time for me to scare all the freshman by showing them what an old Enigman looks like. And I'll try to get a couple more people into the Miskatonic University live game. Any of you Angeleno LJ-friends out there are invited to join the game, too.
