Unique pizzas
May. 18th, 2003 08:12 amI don't think I mentioned it, but when I was back in the Midwest on business, I looked around the Minneapolis airport for something to bring back to Rebecca. They practically had a mall inside the airport. I guess if you have Mall of America nearby, it's only a short step to airport mall.
Anyway, I went to the 'Minnesota' store and somehow passed up the Minnesotan tchotchkes in favor of some local delicacies. They had sausage made of the local fauna, so I picked up some antelope sausage and some elk sausage and some chokecherry jam.
Rebecca was duly impressed with my sausage (wink!) and over the past couple weeks we've used it for topping our homemade pizzas. It's always a good feeling when you think to yourself, "How many people in the world right now are eating spinach, olive, jalapeno and elk pizza?"
And the answer is almost certainly, "Just me & my snugglebunny."e
