Depressing Discovery

I use LJ's interest search tool to find the LJ'er whose interests most match mine. The clear winner was luminosity. This is so embarrassing. He's some sort of gothic cyber poet. If I were a gothic cyber poet, would I realize it? Would my friends tell me, or would they try to protect me from the realization that I am a gothic cyber poet.
I mean... I'm kinda gothic. At least I am when I go out on weekends or when I interview for jobs at Catholic girls' schools (as voideity reminded me).
I'm kinda cyber... I mean I have a sucky webpage & I know my way around this crazy internet thing better than your average 13 year old.
I'm sorta a poet. I've littered the internet with examples of my poesy.
So I guess I must be a gothic cyber poet.

My only consolation is that, unlike luminosity, I am not a retarded gothic cyber poet.
