At last I felt confident enough to look at my investment account statement.
Unfortunately, it had a little bar graph showing the months I'd been avoiding.
It's not like I didn't know, but visual representations of data can still be painful.

I know exactly what you mean. I've been cringing looking at statements that show 60% loss. Not a good time to cash out a ROTH or two to help with the house purchasing.
