Pictures of the House!

Amy and Brian and Amy's folks were nice enough to drop by and kick the tires on the house with us as we went through the inspection. There's definitely some work that needs to be done. The house was built in 1926, so just about everything is substandard with respect to today's building codes. Priorities are the wiring in the attic, the pipes and the water heater.

Afterwards, we went to Hollywood for a bit. My Halloween costume is now complete & the ingredients for our super-evil super-secret plan have also been acquired. The fruition of our plan may be long in coming, and we may never be able to tell the world what we have done, but I'm still content.v

It's adorable! I actually like the bathroom -- makes me nostalgic for my grandmother's house in the Bay Area.

I was going to be Buffy for Halloween, but, despite the fact that I'm technically not "showing" yet, I feel like a bloated cow, so I'm probably going to do something generic that covers what used to be my waist.

1. What sort of escrow time are you looking at?
2. Is it actually walking distance of Brian & Amy's?
   2a. Will you therefore be leading a walking tour on Halloween?

Oh, and for the super-evil, super-secret plan, remember that it doesn't pay to scrimp on the ingredients, with the possible exception of non-dairy whipped topping, which can be an acceptable substitute for actual whipped cream (plus it has the benefit of staying fresh longer.)

Where are the pictures of this attic you mention?

And the first thing you're going to add on to it is a basement, right?
