Move Under Ground, by Nick Mamatas

It's more or less a Lovecraftian sequel to On the Road. I didn't care for it much -- I seem to be way in the minority here -- probably because I'm not a fan of Kerouac, either. There are occasional interesting nuggets of lucidity, but I will go with what TIME magazine said of On the Road: it is a "barbaric yawp of a book".

And then, some people have called Nick Mamatas himself a barbaric yawp.
