(no subject)

I'm in Chicago.

The sequel to the Jayne Eyre Affair was in the airport bookstore so I figured it was kismet and I bought it.

I ate next to elephants in a rainforest.

I got a bus ride from "the Good Doctor".

I'm off for the Art Institute.

Ciao!

"lost in a good book" is great - get your hands on a copy of "The well of lost plots" if you can (it's in paperback in the UK, don't know about the US, yet) as it's also v. enjoyable - albeit a lot darker than the first book.

Me, I can't wait for #4 - UK release July of this year, and I think I'll splurge on getting a copy send to the US. :)

I did it ass-backwards. Jasper Fforde was in Vancouver over the summer and read part of The Jane Eyre Affair to the audience, but only had Lost in a Good Book for sale and then signing. So I got two, which didn't seem to really need the reader to have read the first book. And now he's onto three. I'm out of order and behind. Bah.
