Science can do anything!

Somebody... Prime? Phil? mentioned a contest from Out of the Box Games, where you could win a copy of their new game Word on the Street in a contest. The task, to come up with the longest one-word name of something you can find in a bottle.

My winning answer. (Not easy to see, but it's dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane.)

That was me. Your winning answer won me a copy :).

At this point, I have to contest their age 12 to adult rating. Bernhardt has played several times and enjoyed it and I came home to him playing with another 6 year old.

I think the game needs to be played to a number of victories with older players, as there's a noticable first mover advantage if the players have large vocabularies. Of course, with the timer and a group of players (we've only played one on one) there may be more lost opportunities...

We just got the game yesterday. Wanna come over and play it sometime?

I can see it being more difficult with teams, given the 30 second time limit.

Ooh, they used to put DDT into cocktails! (can't find proof, I read it somewhere)
