Dude.

I loved the Electric Company, but I don't remember seeing that one. If I did, it's on the list of Why I'm Weird, that's for sure.

The electric company apparently predates me.

...and just...what the hell?!?

OMG

I'm sorry you were deprived of The Electric Company. I know for a fact that none of this stuff was online five years ago, but the magic of YouTube has now sprained the nostalgia center of my brain. You're probably just a tad too old to enjoy it, but this stuff brings out the warm fuzzies in my bitter twisted old heart.

For ages, I've been hoping to play Letterman at a LARP.

And just seeing the related videos brings back other vivid memories.

OMG MORE BLACKULA ACTION!!!

It's also so strange now to look at the credits. Ok, Morgan Freeman wasn't anybody yet, but... Rita Moreno, Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks, Joan Rivers... I was just a wee kid, so I didn't know who the hell these people were (and most of them were doing voice talent, anyway). But still.

"For ages, I've been hoping to play Letterman at a LARP."

Of course, you realize that's a challenge for me.

I think I even brought it up once for a possible LARP, but the GMs declared that this was a *serious* comic book hero LARP.

Not to mention Tom Lehrer, who wrote the songs "LY" and "Silent E."

My parents did some of the cartoons on the Electric Company. :) I used to watch it a lot as a kid, but I had no idea Morgan Freeman was on it!

Wow, that's excellent!
