That's pretty impressive. When I saw it first, I thought it was CGI,it just has those unnatural edges and lighting. But then again that's what Luxor is about....
I looked at the closeup and I would guess bats, birds don't usually flap their wings as much when catching bugs. Of course I could be wrong.
I remember waiting for the monorail at the MGM station, and the entire column of light from the Luxor was a writhing mass of moths. The station itself was pretty infested as well.
