Save Our City

This is just a quick message to say that I'm planning on running a clue-laden Los Angeles Road Rally-type event on Saturday, December 1st. You can mark your calendars now, but there's no need to take any action as yet. I'm still in the planning stage. I'm shamelessly ripping off Aaron's ChronoAgents road-rally experience for the idea of the players being from a future Earth after a horrible disaster has befallen our fair city. But I'll be doing something of a mash-up of ChronoAgents with my own brain, along with some influences from 12 Monkeys (or La Jetée for the pedants).

Anyone and everyone is invited, but this will probably be mostly an Enigmacentric event.

The name of the game is "Save Our City"

Sounds fun, though other than having read about half of "The Eyre Affair" by Fforde, I have no idea what you're talking about. "Enigmacentric" sounds like... I dunno.

Ha, actually ChronoAgents had nothing to do with Fforde's books. Enigmacentric refers to Enigma, UCLA's sf/f/h club (though you don't need any real connection to UCLA to join). I shoulda just said I was running it for friends and friends-of-friends, and the inevitable FOAFOAF...
