The pumpkin is growing like bananas. Wait.

As is everything else. Compare with this from less than three weeks ago. It mayn't be immediately obvious, but just see how much further away I had to stand to keep the pumpkin all in the frame.

What did you sacrifice to it? Or is this some weird pumpkin/kudzu hybrid?

(BTW, I initially had a mental image of bunches of long, slender, slightly curved pumpkins....)

I'll never reveal the secret of the carnivorous pumpkin... oops... did I say carnivorous?

Banana-pumpkins would be cool, but they make lousy jack-o-lanterns.

Every year, my mother would scour the local pumpkin patches until she found the perfect, skull-shaped one. (And to think we once thought my mother was The Normal One of the family.)
