Fluff

what that robot did to me

I've been idly following FEMA fraud in the post-Katrina days. Now the GAO concludes that about $1 billion was given away to people with invalid applications. Incorrect SSN, addresses, etc. Possibly they were truly people in need, and I'm not willing to go so far as the GAO and declare authoritatively that there is no "legitimate disaster need" for $400 in adult erotica products. They may well provide the most authentic preparation for dealing with the Bush Administration in a time of disaster.

What's with the damn stock market? I'm down more than 10% in the past month or so. That sucks.

"In God We Trust" is "patriotic and has no true resemblance to a governmental sponsorship of a religious exercise."

Summer is generally a weaker time for the market, and with a shitty president and rising interest rates and rising gas prices, it's not getting any better. If you're down MORE than 10%, then you're doing worse than the market. I managed to sell off a lot in the early part of the tumble, since I had stop-losses set up. Hooray for me!
