Shag-gy LARP
I'm just taking the opportunity to spread the word about Limbo Lounge, a live role-playing game set in a swinging afterlife reminiscent of the artwork of SHAG. For those of you who aren't into role-playing games, I guarantee this will be a fun one to come to. It will be like a costume party with gambling, tiki drinks and more tiki drinks.
The game's being run by Kirsten,
aaronjv's better half. It'll be Saturday, August 13, and possibly held at least partially at our house.
britgeekgrrl: feel free to pass the info along to respectable southern California LARPers of your acquaintance. Or Northern Cal ones who enjoy the I-5.

Tiki drinks
Last time I made tiki drinks was my cauldron of zombies:
1 bottle of amber rum
1 bottle of dark rum
1 bottle of light rum
1/2 bottle of apricot brandy
a reasonable amount of pineapple juice
a fair amount of orange juice
a wee amount of fresh-squeezed lime juice
a wee amount of grenadine
Serve with a float of Bacardi 151, and garnish with green cherry, red cherry and pineapple wedge.
Of course, that was also the night I wound up unconscious and covered in vomit.

Such a stellar evening.

Is the dress style 70s then? I read it and thought that the angels would be dressed up in suits and ties with a halo above their heads. Hmm...70s style...interesting.

That's why this has to be an imagination exercise for Enigma.

(And, regarding the pointy boobs, look for granny bras - many of them provide the nice torpedo line, since it was, after all, in style when all the grannies were young....) -K-

Back to those crunches....
