Companies will do anything but tell the truth.

When you quit a job, your company doesn't have the right to retaliate against you in evil ways. That doesn't stop them, however, from doing that anyway. If you're quitting, you're likely doing so for a valid reason. So, a company will do anything in its power to save itself, its information, and reputation before it even considers keeping your head above water.

It makes sense in theory, but legally? That's a big no-no. We've all been scorned by one company or another, but it doesn't usually take the form of a forged online document.

The employee in this next story quit their job, but they've noticed that their company still has their headshots and title up on the company website. Now, they've realized that their name is on an NDA provided by the company, electronically signed, even though they know they did not sign it. The former employer swears it was auto-populated… But what do you think? Is this simply a misunderstanding in an ocean of electronic mishaps? Either way, the employee is frustrated with the thought of their name being stamped on unknown documents. Scroll below to read the full story.

A Midmorning Snack of 22 Brown-Bagged Funnies to Get You Through the Workday (November 3, 2025)

Posted by Jesse Kessenheimer

Some days, employees wake up and lack the motivation to go to work. Dreaming of hitting snooze, having a leisurely morning, and enjoying a slow-sipped cup of coffee on the porch, workers envy the retired lifestyle. As the birds chirp and the lawn sprinklers sing, exhausted day workers drag themselves out of the comfort of their home, into their work shoes, and out the door before their granola bar breakfast is even opened.

When those extra chipper coworkers claim they're "living the dream" every day, what many burnt-out employees would argue is that this dream is actually a nightmare.

Alas, the wheel of time continues to turn, and so does the conclusion of our shift. Just as certain as our late morning watch's ticking, the clocks at work function just the same, and with every moment that passes, so concludes our workday. Hang in there, fellow workmen, because even when you're down bad with a case of the Mondays, before you know it, the day has passed, and you're one shift closer to the weekend again!

Neglected kitten ignored during rain storm by owners, neighbor rescues her from the cold and conside

Posted by Briana Viser

Cats are really adaptive animals. They truly do have 9 lives, and their nimble athleticism helps them in any situation they may get themselves into. That being said, there are obvious indicators of a neglected animal. Sometimes when you see a parent who doesn't treat their child well, you may think to yourself, "why did they even have kids?" But what's even more confusing is when you see someone treat their pet poorly. Having a cat comes with a basic level of responsibility, and if the owner isn't prepared to handle the tasks involved, like keeping the cat inside, then they shouldn't get a pet at all.

Take the story below as a PSA against animal neglect. The protagonist is a woman who has cat owning neighbors. They adopted a few cats, but all of them are 100% fully outdoor cats. It already begs the question of why they adopted the cats in the first place. After seeing their new kitten outside in the rain, she takes her in as her own.

20+ Hired Feline Funnies for Clocked-In Cat People Who Want Monday to End

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

Meowing Monday is here again, and we refuse. We refuse emails like cats refuse water glasses on counters. We refuse to-do lists like cats refuse an empty middle in a food bowl. We refuse to start another workweek like cats refuse sudden belly rubs. We refuse the concept of Mondays with the force of a cat's willpower to… well, refuse whatever they don't want to do. Because that's some strong willpower. Every cat pawrent is aware of that. When your cat wants something - or when a cat doesn't want something - there's nothing to stop them.

But how can you harness such strong willpower, like that of a cat? With some working cat memes, of course. You see, working cat memes speak to the soul of every hardworking hooman with a cat waiting at home. And we've already gathered them for you, right here.

So with this strong willpower harnessed, you can definitely take on the week ahead. Because with the mindset of a cat, with some feline determination, there's nothing that can stop you. Not even a coffee cup that was just not enough, not even a bothersome boss who won't give you a break, not even starting this meowing Monday. Rest assured, these hired feline funnies are doing the job of giving you cat confidence.

Posted by Mariel Ruvinsky

Sometimes, the stories that we read online about people saving animals truly sound like miracles. Right time, right place, happy ending, that kind of story. Like when you read about someone rescuing a kitten that was on the verge of crossing the rainbow bridge and giving it a second chance at life, or someone rescuing a pregnant cat that was abandoned in the woods and desperately needed help, or someone rescuing a kitten that was set to be euthanized for no good reason and completely transforming the cat and the cat's life.

And when someone tells us that they read a story online six years ago about someone rescuing both an abandoned kitten and also, independently, an abandoned puppy on Halloween and the two animals becoming instant friends… well, we understand why this story goes viral practically every year when we get an update about them. Because something like that happening is a miracle - both animals being happy and healthy and saved by the same person. We hope this story continues to get attention every single year, because it makes us smile every time we see it.

Posted by Jesse Kessenheimer

Purrepare to be roped into some feline shenanigans… Again.

Cat lovers are accustomed to the mysteriousness of their cats. One moment, they're quietly sleeping in the windowsill, basking in the glory of the late morning sun, and the next moment, they've lost their kitty noggin and a scampering from wall to wall, meowing like the cat-pocalypse will come and they'll implode unless given a tin of wet food IMMEDIATELY.

Kitties always keep us on our toes, mischievously prowling our homes like tiny tigers and curling up on the couch like a caged dragon soul. Floofy, yet often underestimated, cats are far more capable of wreaking havoc than most give them credit for, which is why we at the I Can Has Headquarters are determined to unveil the mayhem and tomfoolery bottled up inside every cat. For awareness of a kitty's mysteries is the first step to understanding how truly special and wonderful our favorite critters can be.

23 Purrfect Pictures of Cats Showing Off Their Long Whiskers in All Their Glory

Posted by Sarah Brown

Some cats just have whiskers that deserve a little extra attention. Long, dramatic, and full of character, they make every expression even funnier and every nap pose extra cute. A single twitch can say it all. Curiosity, judgment, or that "feed me now" energy every cat owner knows too well.

Those extra-long whiskers have a way of stealing the spotlight. Whether they're brushing against your hand for a quick hello or sticking out in every direction after a good nap, they add so much personality to a furry face. Even when slightly bent or uneven, they're part of what makes each cat perfectly unique.

It's hard not to smile when those whiskers catch the light or wiggle mid-dream. They tell little stories without a single meow. Long whiskers, sleepy faces, and a whole lot of attitude. Just another reason cats are the masters of quiet charm.

Just because something isn't currently in use doesn't mean that it's up for grabs.

Too often do people in our lives assume that the infantile spin-offs of "finder's keepers" are applicable in real life. Contrary to popular belief, people are not allowed to take whatever they want, whenever they want, in an unauthorized manner. The older you get, the more you realize that some people simply don't grow out of the childish, entitled behavior they've adopted over their lifetimes. It's unfortunately up to you and the others they cross to give them a much-needed taste of reality.

In the story below, the neighboring family of the narrator has (yet again) decided to help themselves to the narrator's driveway without their consent to do so. The narrator explains that although they don't currently own a vehicle, they rent vehicles and have guests over from time to time. So, they would prefer to keep their driveway vehicle-free in case they need to use it. Also, (not so) hot take: They don't need a reason to want to keep their property use limited to them… Especially if the neighbors didn't ask them to use it to begin with. What would you do in this situation? Take legal action? Or, get sweet, petty revenge the old-fashioned way? Scroll below to read the full story.

Sunday – the day before the entire, arduous, tumult called the "work week." Why can't we be like France and work 5 hours a week with 300 vacation days a year? Just kidding, we love working, especially when we have to deal with cat memes. There's nothing as special as staring at cat memes for hours on end, seeing their wide open eyes, their whiskers, decorous fur patterns, and their unhinged cat smiles.

Skincare routine, sleeping well, cold match in the morning, warm green tea at night – these are all helpful to overall wellbeing. But where's the fun in it? New neighbor cuts down most branches on homeowner's tree while they're away on vacation and shows no

Posted by Lana DeGaetano

The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Remember that one gargantuan tree from your childhood that you'd sit under while reading one of your favorite novels? Its leaves would change with the seasons, transforming themselves from a welcoming green to a vibrant crimson and, eventually, a soft brown to signify the end of one season and the beginning of another. Its bark felt rough against the middle of your back, and there were one too many spiders lingering in its branches, but if you could go back and sit under that same tree once more, you would do so in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, you can't. The new next-door neighbor actually cut it down last week while your parents were on vacation! Well, the new neighbors featured in this next story didn't cut down your parents' tree, but they probably would. They cut down this woman's tree while she was away on vacation, so likely nobody's tree is safe. You'll see in the photos below that the once branch-filled trunk is now nearly barren, and the woman explains that part of the reason she had closed on her home years ago was because of this tree. The best part? The neighbor has no remorse. Scroll to read.

Posted by Laurent Shinar

In most cases when we come across a cat rescue story, the action takes place outside, usually by a some sort of a garbage receptacle. However, the story we have lined up for you today is one the flips this usual script on it head and truly makes you question just how heartless hoomankind can be. For today, we tell the story of the abandoned catto who was left behind after his pawrents moved apartments. Leaving the crushed cat child only an open window and a third story ledge from which to cry out for help. Luckily the next door neighbor happened to be a cat lover and when they caught wind of the sad situation happening next door to them they sprung into action.

However, even after bringing in emergency services to help, nothing could be done to save the kitty, not for lack of ability, but likely for lack of want. Leaving our brave rescuer to stand up and take control of the situation themselves. And thank goodness they did, for if not we would not be celebrating their happy ending.

Posted by Bar Mor Hazut

Don't you love it when people act like a public thing is somehow rightfully theirs?

The neighbor in the story below, Guy, acted like a parking spot on a public street was his because he is the one who usually parks there. So when a neighbor's visitor parked in "his" spot, he couldn't handle it. Instead of parking in one of the many other options the street had to offer, Guy decided he would teach this poor visitor a lesson for parking in a public spot he decided he owned.

He drove his truck and got his girlfriend with her car, and together they completely blocked the visitor's car. After a few hours, the visitor walked over to their car and discovered they couldn't leave. This led to a whole neighborhood dispute.

Funnily enough, another neighbor's security camera caught some of this entitled behavior, and they shared it online. Keep scrolling to read the full tale and scroll all the way down to watch the video. After that, check out this story about an employee who decided to rebel against their dress code at work.

29 Hissterical Feline Funnies That are Pawsitive in Their Own Very Cat Way

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

Some people don't get cats. And we get that - most people think of dogs when they think of a pet, which makes cats the misunderstood kind of animal companion. For example, people are used to seeing a tail-wagging dog and see this as a sign for "I'm happy, come pet me!" - but with cats? It's the opposite. If a cat wags their tail, it means their agitated, annoyed, and you should definitely not come in for pets (unless you really want to be clawed). Another example is the "lack of affection" of a cat - people expect cats to jump on you and lick your face like a dog, but cats show affection in other ways. Cats that sit next to you on the couch? This is affection - they share the space with you, and you should feel honored.

So, you see? Cats are pawsitive in their own, very cat way. Because there's nothing more cat than cats. And cats are great, whether you're aware of it or not. As we said, some people are just not aware of how cats function, and therefore have no clue about cats' greatness. Cats basically rule the lives of their pawrents, and we accept that with love and open arms.

So here's to cats, and their meowsterious ways. Let's celebrate them with some hissterical cat memes.

Wonderful woman saves a pregnant cat momma from the bushes and helps the Trojan load find forever ho

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

We're constantly in awe at how the Cat Distribution System works. It's mysterious, never revealing itself and its working systems, but it continuously succeeds in matching cats in need to the person who can purrrrrovide. Some of the people are the destination - where the cats in need should arrive, where they'll find their forever homes. But some of these kind people the CDS sends their cats to are actually agents - a CDS agent is someone who's responsible for helping the cat in need to reach their destination designated by the Cat Distribution System itself. Some CDS agents are cats, too.

The people chosen as agents are always kind people, just like this wonderful woman, who did some truly benevolent work with the kittens that fell into her hands. She not only crawled inside bushes to save the pregnant momma cat, but she also took care of the four floofy feline surprises that came with her. But sometimes, too many cats are simply too many cats… But some people's kindness only grows with the number of cats they're willing to take care of - as adopters or agents alike.

We're happy and delighted to know all these kittens have found loving homes, and the semi-feral cat momma is on her way to socialization - even if the woman has kids of her own to take care of. Now she has a cat child as well, and we can't thank her enough for all her hard work.
