I went through a lot of interesting test drives while looking for a car- aside from my artistic limitations, some of them were just poorly suited for humans to occupy.

I've been pretty happy with the Nissan 350z, but it fits differently than my Honda did, and I never quite feel like I'm part of it the way I did with the del sol. And I'm right there with you about trunk space- the sol has a fairly respectable 10.5 cubic foot trunk, and the Z is 6.5; there are actually instructions on the lid on how to shoehorn a golf bag in there... and nothing else.
