Rebecca and I have just put in a bid on a house.
I just forged Rebecca's signature and initials about thirty times on the 12 pages of legalese involved in making an offer.
I just wrote a check for TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.
I just put an order in to sell some of my stock in order to cover the rest of the still-hypothetical down payment.
I just heard from our realtor that there are two other offers on the house.
Keep your fingers crossed, and direct evil thoughts toward the other bidders. Those bastards are trying to move into OUR house!

Well, yeah -- that is, after all, one of the most important factors to consider when buying a house. One of the reasons we really want the Youngs to move up here is because then we could do a full weekend-long, three location live game (they're looking at places more or less walking distance from both us and the St. Laurents.)
