Ian Thomas ran for the school board in somewhere-or-other. He's 22 and a recent college grad with a degree in biology. He also has an "I’m Proud to be an Atheist" bumper sticker on his car.

A political opponent sent a "Dear Neighbors" e-mail out, right before Election Day: "I want to be sure that you are aware that the Democratic ticket has aligned themselves with a devout atheist with (a) pro-atheistic bumper sticker on his car and writes pro-atheist letters to the editor."

Well, I guess this is only fair and reasonable, since the secular majority that dominates the country are always alerting people to candidates who have a Star of David or an ichthys fish on their cars.

Sorry you're suffering a shitty mood, but you should have gotten no further than "the secular majority that dominates the country" before the sarcasm-or-Pat-Robertson sensor went off. I am not, as of this writing, Pat Robertson, ergo... sarcasm it is. Motivated mostly by the verbiage I read in a lot of Christian forums that lament how the atheists run everything in America.
